Helen platform is online space where like-minded people meet to collaborate on reaching their educational or professional goals using innovative tools.
Our first two features, events shop and ask community targets two user groups:

  1. Community Members who are working on achieving an academic or career goal through attending online workshops and networking events where their questions can be answered by expertise.
    1. Those highly interested in getting support to achieve their academic or career goals in a year or less. They are motivated to attend events, ask questions and collaborate with others.
  2. Expert Members or organisations or communities who are interested in providing online development opportunities and answering their community’s questions in one centralised place.
    1. Those highly interested in giving back to their community and achieving tangible social impact in supporting individuals to achieve their academic or career goals.

The title, according to GS's terminology: Implementation Specialist
Location: Online
Type: Voluntary.
Weekly hours needed: 4 Hours or more.

You will be part of the Compass Squad, The Compass Squad's role is to define the strategic direction of GS and guide, facilitate, monitor, evaluate and improve the processes and their interactions to reach our strategic direction.

you will be in a frontline operational position, supporting the representatives, orchestrators and the squad through “making things happen”, overseeing internal operations where it’s needed and stepping in when orchestrators and representatives need help or are unavailable.

You may be called upon in unconventional situations to make sure that we are implementing our plans in all GS squads and pushing forwards, even if that requires working on tasks that are not in your areas of expertise.

You will work will depend on the squad that you will support with your expertise. But generally, you will work on a variety of tasks, including:

  • Understanding and embracing GS’s strategic direction and mission.
  • Making sure the GS Guidelines are followed according to the Orchestrator Guidelines at all times.
  • Maintaining constant communication with squad members to ensure proper operations of the plan implementation.
  • Leading, motivating, and supporting the team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment.
  • Give suggestions on change and improvement to make and how to implement them.
  • Effective communication with compass veteran regarding the status of daily work.
  • Assist in Deviation/OOS investigations.
  • Detecting nonconformities and suggesting relevant corrective actions as needed.
  • Organising workflows as needed.

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or any relevant qualification.
  • At least 3 years of Project Management or any relevant experience.
  • 1 year of Planning experience is a must.
  • Judgment and Decision Making
  • Excellent communication skills, both in writing and speaking.
  • Excellent Leadership Skills.
  • Excellent Time management skills.
  • Organised & Responsible.
  • Attentive to details.
  • Proficiency in English.

Preferred

  • Experience in remote and voluntary work.
