Our first two features, events shop and ask community targets two user groups:

  1. Community Members who are working on achieving an academic or career goal through attending online workshops and networking events where their questions can be answered by expertise.
    1. Those highly interested in getting support to achieve their academic or career goals in a year or less. They are motivated to attend events, ask questions and collaborate with others.
  2. Expert Members or organisations or communities who are interested in providing online development opportunities and answering their community’s questions in one centralised place.
    1. Those highly interested in giving back to their community and achieving tangible social impact in supporting individuals to achieve their academic or career goals.

The title, according to GS's terminology: Recruitment Coordinator
Location: Online
Type: Voluntary.
Weekly hours needed: 2 Hours or more.

You will initially work on our Hive squad. The Hive squad's role is to develop and implement policies, programmes and effective Human Resources Management that support all Global Share squads in meeting their goals and challenges aligning with Global Share values and strategies.

You will be responsible for attracting qualified members, managing all aspects of members recruitment, overseeing the process to ensure procedures are followed in a fair and transparent manner.

You will work on a variety of tasks, including:

  • Prepare job descriptions, advertising vacant positions, and managing the recruitment process.
  • Browse, search and screen for qualified job candidates to close available vacancies in a timely manner using various recruitment sources.
  • Interview and assess internal and external applicants based on assigned job description and positions’ requirements.
  • Coordinate with squads’ orchestrators to schedule technical interviews for qualified candidates.
  • Orienting new members, ensuring a smooth onboarding process, and overseeing initiation into their squad and the Global Share network at large.

Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or any relevant field.
  • At least 1 year of relevant professional experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both in writing and speaking.
  • Excellent Time management skills.
  • Excellent planning and organising skill.
  • Excellent negotiation skill.
  • Proficiency in English.
Preferred
  • Experience in remote and voluntary work.
